Summary
The Cross Functional Service Center Specialist is a member of the Service Center team responsible for processing and analyzing service orders to meet servicing and quality standards. The role guides workflow, stages merchandise securely, manages parts inventory and cycle counts, and provides updates to management. The specialist also partners on projects and supports internal customer inquiries to ensure timely service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and systematically process service orders including logging, prioritization, communication, materials supply, washout, quality assurance, receiving, and shipment preparation.
- Guide workflow to ensure daily service levels are met and provide management updates on assigned orders.
- Stage and secure merchandise for movement through the department.
- Manage parts inventory including cycle counts, parts ordering, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Liaise with TSC US to troubleshoot service issues and respond to internal customer inquiries.
- Identify process improvements and assist management with projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an operational, business, or technical environment.
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to shifting priorities, exercise good judgment, and work independently or on a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Preferred: undergraduate degree; experience in machine engraving or embossing; inventory management knowledge; familiarity with Tiffany systems; Graduate Gemologist preferred.
