Curating Associate - Fashion Island

Summary

Curating Associate responsible for executing creative vision and upholding visual integrity of the gallery while representing the brand with refined taste and polished professionalism. This role supports gallery leadership, curators and corporate partners to elevate the client experience and drive sales through merchandising, gallery maintenance and team engagement. The position requires strong organizational skills, technical proficiency with multiple platforms and the ability to multitask in a fast paced luxury retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandise floor sets and maintain visual integrity of the gallery
• Coordinate with Gallery Leadership Team curators and corporate partners to implement creative vision
• Train and mentor gallery team on floor sets quality visual standards signage and graphics
• Assist in maintaining inventory integrity and audit planograms and visual maps
• Drive results through team engagement empowerment and accountability
• Represent the brand through polished communication appearance and professionalism
• Perform gallery maintenance recovery and ensure cleanliness standards
• Learn and communicate design ethos product assortment and product care

Requirements

• 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or related field
• Excellent technical ability to leverage platforms to track inventory and request replacements
• Highly organized strategic and results oriented with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask prioritize and solve problems creatively with cross functional partners
• Proficiency with Mac OS iOS Microsoft Office and Google Applications
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs and maneuver around gallery and stock room
