Job Description

Summary

The Curating Associate supports the gallery by executing visual merchandising and floor sets that reflect a refined design aesthetic. This role collaborates with gallery leadership and curators to elevate the client experience, drive sales, and maintain the visual integrity of the space.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the brand through polished communication, appearance, and a refined point of view.
  • Work with Gallery Leadership, Curators, and corporate partners to execute creative vision and drive sales.
  • Coordinate and execute merchandise floor sets and uphold gallery visual standards and planograms.
  • Train and mentor the gallery team on floor sets, signage, maintenance, recovery, and visual guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory integrity and leverage systems to request replacements.
  • Provide creative feedback on visual maps, planograms, and merchandising directives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or a related field.
  • Strong technical proficiency with inventory and merchandising platforms; proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
  • Strategic, highly organized, results-oriented, with meticulous attention to quality and detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to train and develop team members.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems creatively while partnering cross-functionally.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs., operate basic power tools, and perform prolonged standing, bending, and other physical tasks on the gallery floor.
