Summary
The Curating Associate supports the gallery's visual presentation and client experience, bringing a passion for design and home furnishings. This role partners with gallery leadership, curators, and corporate teams to execute the creative vision and drive results.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute merchandise floor sets while maintaining the gallery's visual integrity.
- Train and mentor team members on floor sets, quality and visual standards, signage, maintenance, recovery, and cleanliness.
- Audit planograms and visual maps, offer creative input on company directives, and help maintain inventory integrity.
- Communicate the design ethos, product assortment, and product care while supporting sales and the client experience.
- Represent the brand with polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or a related field.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical ability to use platforms for inventory tracking and replacement requests; proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 pounds, maneuver around the gallery and stock room, and perform extended periods of standing, bending, and climbing.
- Basic knowledge of operating power tools.
