Curating Associate

Summary

The Curating Associate supports the visual presentation and client experience of a luxury home furnishings gallery. The role coordinates merchandise floor sets and helps uphold the gallery's visual standards while partnering with store leadership and corporate teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute merchandise floor sets while maintaining the gallery's visual integrity.
• Train and mentor gallery team members on floor sets, visual standards, signage, maintenance, recovery and cleanliness.
• Review planograms and visual maps, share creative input on company directives, and help maintain inventory integrity.
• Communicate the design ethos, product assortment and product care, and partner with gallery leadership and corporate teams to elevate the client experience and drive sales.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or a related field.
• Strong technical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 pounds, work throughout the gallery and stockroom, and perform prolonged standing, bending and climbing; basic power-tool knowledge.
