Summary

The Curator will lead the artistic direction and curation of exhibitions and installations for the gallery in Aspen, CO. This full-time role develops compelling presentations and programming that align aesthetic vision with commercial objectives. The Curator partners with design, merchandising, and operations teams to deliver elevated guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Curate and plan seasonal exhibitions, installations, and gallery displays.
• Select and procure artworks and objects; coordinate loans, acquisitions, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, and operations to integrate curation with merchandising strategy.
• Oversee installation, layout, and maintenance of gallery presentations and ensure proper art handling.
• Develop gallery programming, artist partnerships, interpretive materials, and public-facing content.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in curation, gallery management, or a related role with a demonstrable portfolio.
• Proven experience planning exhibitions, managing installs, and coordinating logistics.
• Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of art handling, conservation considerations, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to manage physical installations and travel between gallery locations as needed.
