Summary
The Customer Experience Specialist provides excellent customer service by assisting customers, supporting stylists, processing merchandise, and helping execute in-store events. This role involves front of house engagement, phone and email communication, light cleaning, and occasional opening and closing duties. The position requires adaptability, initiative, and basic technology skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers, assess needs, and connect them to services such as order pickup, alterations, styling, returns, and gift wrapping
- Answer phones and communicate professionally via email and in person
- Support back of house processes including inventory management and maintaining organization and cleanliness
- Assist with event execution, manage RSVPs, and act as door greeter
- Perform opening and closing duties and follow security procedures when required
- Complete light cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, and restroom maintenance
- Handle and process merchandise, including occasional heavy lifting
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to identify customer needs and resolve issues to meet expectations
- Ability to adapt quickly to new initiatives, concepts, and services
- Proven success in a fast paced environment with strong multi tasking skills
- Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Outlook and Excel
- Physical ability to be on feet for 6 to 8 hours with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 to 50 pounds
