Job Description

Summary

As a Customer Experience Specialist at Nordstrom Local Newport Beach, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. You will engage with customers, support in-store events, and handle various responsibilities to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers and engage with diverse audiences through effective storytelling.
  • Identify and connect customers to services such as Online Order Pickup, Alterations, Styling, Returns, and Gift Wrapping.
  • Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email, providing feedback on trends, fit, and style.
  • Support back of house processes, including inventory management and maintaining organization and cleanliness.
  • Assist in event execution, manage RSVPs, and greet customers at the door.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, following proper security procedures.
  • Conduct light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, and restroom maintenance.
Requirements
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Ability to identify customer opportunities and build solutions to meet expectations.
  • Adaptability to new initiatives, concepts, and services within the store.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment with multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry between 1-25 lbs and occasionally 25-50 lbs.
  • Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Booking Bug, and Excel.
