Summary
Provide friendly, solution-oriented customer service in a fast paced retail environment at the Houston Galleria. Assist customers with transactions, technology used in the store, and ensure security and privacy of customer information while supporting team initiatives and flexible scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions and inquiries
- Demonstrate expertise in store technologies and point of sale systems
- Defuse customer situations and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure security and privacy of customer information through compliance and education
- Promote programs such as the rewards program to customers
- Foster trust, teamwork and positive relationships with peers and leadership
- Work a flexible schedule based on department needs
- Handle merchandise including lifting and moving items as required
Requirements
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers and team members
- Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android
- Clear and effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and lifting up to 25 pounds
