Summary
Design, implement, and support mission-critical security platforms across multi-cloud and multi-platform environments with minimal supervision. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver service excellence and execute strategic initiatives while focusing on reliable, automated, and highly available security systems. Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to engineering documentation and test plans.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support secure configurations for security platforms such as EDR CSPM and Email Security across AWS Azure GCP and OCI
- Integrate security platforms with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native services for detection and remediation
- Develop scripts to automate platform operations monitoring and troubleshooting
- Author project plans engineering documentation and detailed test plans
- Partner with business and technology teams to maintain highly available performant and cost effective security systems
- Analyze platform metrics and optimize configurations for effectiveness
- Support secure deployment of platforms in containerized and virtualized environments
- Create dashboards and reports to visualize platform health and security posture
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or related field
- 2+ years programming or scripting experience such as Python Powershell or Ruby
- Experience with cloud security and automation across major cloud providers
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in IT Computer Science Cybersecurity or related experience
- Experience supporting critical cybersecurity services such as email security CSPM EDR SIEM SOAR and Zero Trust implementations
- Advanced knowledge of systems design principles technical architectures and technology selection
- Effective written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with Kubernetes Terraform Ansible is preferred
