Summary
Hands-on Data Analyst 2 to join the Stores Analytics team partnering with new store openings, Real Estate, stores leadership, technology, strategy, and finance to deliver end-to-end analyses that inform store optimization and omni-channel strategy. The role involves building data products, dashboards, and communicating insights to stakeholders to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with store, real estate, and finance teams to identify ideal store locations and optimize store experience
- Deliver end-to-end analyses transforming data into actionable insights for stores optimization
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards and ad-hoc reports to present results
- Use storytelling and data visualization to communicate findings to varied technical audiences
- Define success metrics and develop measurement frameworks with stakeholders
- Apply advanced analytical and statistical methods to produce thorough insights
- Manage multiple analyses and prioritize work for maximum business impact
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts and report to Sr. Manager of Store Analytics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years hands-on professional experience in data science and analytics
- 2+ years strong coding experience in R or Python for data processing and analysis
- Proficiency in SQL for extracting large data sets from relational databases
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar
- Fluency with descriptive and inferential statistics and experimental design concepts
- Experience managing large projects or workstreams as an analyst or data scientist
- Strong critical thinking, storytelling skills, and collaborative experience with code sharing and revision control
