Summary
The Data Analyst 2 on the Stores Analytics team partners with store operations, real estate, finance, and technology to identify ideal store locations, optimize store experience, and leverage digital signals for an omnichannel customer experience. This hands-on role delivers end-to-end analyses, builds data products and dashboards, and communicates insights to stakeholders to inform strategy and decision making.
Responsibilities
- Partner with new store openings and real estate teams to identify optimal store locations
- Develop measurement frameworks and define success metrics with stakeholders
- Create automated dashboards and ad hoc reports to present data and insights
- Use storytelling to communicate findings to audiences with varying technical expertise
- Perform advanced analytical and statistical analyses to produce actionable insights
- Manage analyses across competing priorities to focus on high-impact work
- Collaborate with store leadership, technology, strategy, and finance on cross functional projects
- Present results and guide stakeholders in using insights for decision making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in data science and analytics
- 2+ years of coding experience in R or Python for data processing and analysis
- Proficiency with SQL and extracting large data sets from relational databases
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Fluency with descriptive and inferential statistics and experimental design concepts
- Experience managing large projects or workstreams as an analyst or data scientist
- Strong critical thinking, storytelling, and collaborative skills
