Paid 10-week summer internship supporting demand planning and replenishment activities. Interns collaborate on forecasting, order management, and collection allocation while developing forecasting tool proficiency and presenting a capstone project to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales order reviews and monitor weekly holiday bulk orders
- Manage planned orders by identifying pre-edit items and coordinating with internal teams to validate demand
- Advise procurement on items that should not be released
- Develop historical demand data for new items using comparable style analysis
- Test and explore demand forecasting tools in a sandbox to build system proficiency
- Respond to and process replenishment requests from distribution hubs
- Manage communication and fulfillment of customer specific requests
- Own allocation and replenishment for a specific product collection
- Perform detailed model analysis at total and store levels to ensure appropriate size distribution
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Preferred majors: Planning, Business Management, Supply Chain Management
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Collaborative and analytical with curiosity and passion for luxury
- Available for the internship dates and able to work in New York
