Summary
Lead the womens's department to deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, margin and operating profit for the store. Collaborate with store leadership to set and achieve sales and shrinkage goals and ensure merchandising and visual standards reflect the brand image.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales and profit performance for the assigned womens's department.
- Establish and implement loss prevention procedures to achieve shrinkage goals.
- Work with Store Director to set sales, margin and operating budgets and monitor results.
- Train, supervise and develop store staff to maximize sales and profit performance.
- Coach and mentor employees to achieve individual and team goals.
- Execute promotional strategies to support retail sales and marketing objectives.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to inform store performance.
- Provide input to Buying and Visual Presentation teams on merchandise presentation.
- Assist in executing visual directives and uphold presentation standards.
Requirements
- Equivalent or related experience preferred.
- Retail management experience preferred.
- Strong business acumen and commercial focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, motivate and develop a retail team.
- Enthusiasm for maintaining a brand lifestyle and store environment.
- Ability to use negotiation and teamwork to achieve goals.
