Job Description

Summary

Design + Build Project Manager responsible for supporting execution of retail environments across new store openings, refreshes, pop-ups, and ongoing enhancements. Works closely with the Senior Manager of Retail Build and Design to translate design intent into built reality, manage documentation, coordinate projects, and support sourcing and logistics. This role is based in the New Orleans headquarters five days a week and requires design literacy and strong project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and update drawings in AutoCAD and maintain organized drawing sets with version control.
  • Support preparation of plans, elevations, fixture layouts, and basic details for retail environments.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across design, construction, vendors, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and approvals to ensure progress.
  • Maintain detailed project trackers, schedules, and documentation systems such as Monday.com.
  • Document decisions, revisions, and action items from meetings and site calls.
  • Support budget tracking, scope alignment, and vendor coordination.
  • Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, signage, and specialty vendors and manage samples and lead times.
  • Prepare clear materials for internal reviews and external coordination and facilitate meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced, design-oriented company or firm such as architecture, interiors, or retail design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with working knowledge of SketchUp and Revit.
  • Experience supporting design documentation and construction coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated interest in retail physical environments and design execution.
  • Experience supporting sourcing and material selection with a strong design eye.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate across work streams.
