The Designated Selling Associate is a salesfocused retail specialist who delivers exceptional customer service, grows sales through oneonone and digital selling, and champions assigned brands while maintaining merchandise presentation and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for instore and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and cultivate repeat business
- Provide product recommendations and confident styling advice to customers
- Conduct appointmentbased selling during events and non event times
- Participate in trainings and lead product knowledge meetings for peers
- Perform merchandising tasks including stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns and transfers
- Provide product feedback to district management to improve assortment
- Open new loyalty program accounts to grow customer base
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers
- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to work varied schedules based on business needs
- Comfort using sales reporting and meeting sales goals
- Strong product knowledge and ability to educate customers on brands and trends
- Confidence selling across high and low price points and demonstrating item value
- Physical ability to stand and move for 6 8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds
