Summary
The Designated Selling Associate provides personalized fashion advice and drives sales for the brand through one-on-one customer relationships, product knowledge, merchandising, and appointment-based selling. This role requires flexibility to support different departments, use digital selling tools, and meet sales goals while maintaining the department presentation.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools and reservations
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through personalized service
- Provide style and fit recommendations and educate customers on product value
- Conduct product knowledge meetings and share feedback to merchandising leadership
- Drive business through appointment-based selling and opening rewards accounts
- Perform merchandising tasks including stocking, re-merchandising, displays, markdowns and transfers
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support sales and customer readiness
- Attend trainings and meetings to expand brand and product knowledge
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build customer rapport
- Ability to excel in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to work varied schedules based on business needs
- Familiarity reading sales reporting and working toward goals
- Ability to educate customers on brands and suggest complementary items
- Confidence selling across high and low price points and demonstrating value
- Organizational skills to track customer wardrobes and follow up strategically
- Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds
