Summary
The Designated Selling Associate is a customer focused sales professional who drives volume while representing a luxury brand, provides personalized service, and supports both in-store and digital selling efforts. This role requires strong product knowledge, relationship building, and flexibility to assist in various department duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Provide personalized styling advice on fit and wardrobe value
- Conduct appointment-based selling during events and non-event times
- Participate in and lead product knowledge meetings to educate peers
- Perform merchandising tasks including stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns and transfers
- Provide product feedback to management to influence assortment
- Be flexible to work in departments beyond the hired brand as business needs require
