Summary
The Designated Selling Associate is a salesperson focused on one-on-one customer engagement, driving sales for the brand through product knowledge, merchandising, and relationship building. This role uses in-store and digital selling tools, supports appointments and events, and helps maintain a customer-ready department.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Provide styling advice and product education to customers
- Use selling tools including text and social media to drive reservations and appointments
- Participate in trainings and lead product knowledge meetings
- Provide product feedback to improve assortment
- Support merchandising tasks including stocking, remerchandising, displays, markdowns and transfers
- Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs

- Confidence selling across a range of price points

- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds and handle merchandise for 6-8 hours per shift
