Designated Selling Associate

Summary

The Designated Selling Associate represents the Lagos brand and drives sales through personalized customer service, product knowledge, and relationship building. The role includes in-store and digital selling, appointment-based selling, and supporting a customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools, digital channels, and customer appointments.
• Build lasting customer relationships and provide confident guidance on style, fit, and product value.
• Develop brand and product expertise, educate peers, and share product feedback with the department manager.
• Support merchandising, stocking, displays, markdowns, transfers, and department cleaning.
• Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts and collaborating with colleagues across departments.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate customer relationships.
• Ability to work in a competitive team environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Ability to read sales reports, educate customers about brands, and recommend products based on their needs and style.
• Ability to move continuously during shifts, handle merchandise, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
