Summary
The Designated Selling Associate passionately represents a brand in a retail environment, driving sales through one-on-one customer relationships, product knowledge, merchandising, and use of digital selling tools. This role sets and achieves sales goals, educates peers and customers on product and style, and supports department readiness through merchandising and inventory tasks. The schedule varies by week and requires flexibility to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through appointment and event selling
- Provide expert styling advice and product feedback to customers and management
- Lead or participate in product knowledge meetings and trainings
- Support department customer readiness including stocking, re-merchandising, displays, markdowns, and transfers
- Grow sales by opening new rewards program accounts and driving predictable business
- Collaborate with DSAs, stylists, and surrounding departments to enhance assortment and presentation

- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to meet varying business needs and schedules
- Familiarity reading sales reporting and aligning activities to goals
- Strong product and brand knowledge with confidence across high and low price points
- Organizational skills to strategically follow up and advise on customer wardrobe needs
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
