Summary
The Designated Selling Associate provides one-on-one customer service, drives sales for assigned brands, and supports merchandising and product knowledge efforts. This role focuses on building customer relationships, achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling, and contributing to a customer ready department.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through personalized service
- Provide style and fit advice and educate customers on product value
- Conduct and participate in product knowledge meetings and trainings
- Support merchandising tasks including stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns and transfers
- Drive business through appointment based selling during events and non event timeframes
- Open new rewards program accounts to grow sales
- Provide product feedback to management to improve assortment
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate customer relationships
- Ability to excel in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Comfort with a range of price points and ability to communicate product value
- Capability to read sales reporting and relate performance to goals
- Physical ability to be on feet and move for 6-8 hours per shift with bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
