Designated Selling Associate - Valley Fair

Summary

The Designated Selling Associate drives sales for a represented designer apparel brand through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and relationship building. The role includes in-store and digital selling, appointment-based selling, and supporting a customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools, reservations, and customer appointments.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers and provide style, fit, and product guidance.
• Educate peers on brand trends and product knowledge, and share product feedback with the department manager.
• Maintain a customer-ready department through stocking, merchandising, markdowns, transfers, and cleaning.
• Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts and support customers across departments as needed.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build customer relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive team environment, prioritize tasks, and work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to interpret sales reporting and educate customers about brands, products, and wardrobe needs.
• Ability to remain active during shifts and regularly lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
