Summary
Designated Selling Associate responsible for delivering exceptional one-on-one customer service, driving sales and brand performance through product knowledge, merchandising and appointment based selling. The role involves building customer relationships, using digital selling tools, and supporting department readiness through merchandising and transfers.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Provide personalized style advice and product education to customers
- Conduct appointment based selling during event and non event timeframes
- Collaborate with DSAs Stylists and surrounding departments to share product knowledge
- Support department merchandising including stocking re merchandising displays and price markdowns
- Provide product feedback to the district manager to improve assortment
- Be flexible to perform duties in other departments as needed
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate customer relationships
- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to work variable schedules based on business needs
- Comfort with appointment based and performance driven sales and reading sales reporting
- Product knowledge and ability to educate customers on brands and styling
- Confidence selling across a range of price points and demonstrating value
- Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
