Summary
The Designated Selling Associate is a salesfocused fashion professional who builds oneonone customer relationships, champions the assigned brand, and drives instore and digital sales through product knowledge and personalized service. This role involves merchandising, educating peers, and using selling tools including text and social media to meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for instore and digital channels using selling tools and reservations
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through appointmentbased and event selling
- Provide styling advice on fit, value, and wardrobe completion
- Conduct and participate in product knowledge meetings and trainings
- Support merchandising activities including stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns and transfers
- Provide product feedback to improve store assortment
- Open new rewards program accounts to grow sales
- Collaborate with DSAs, stylists, and surrounding departments to drive business
- Perform other department duties as business needs require
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate customer relationships
- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to work varied schedules based on business needs
- Familiarity with reading sales reporting and relating it to goals
- Strong product and fashion knowledge with ability to educate customers
- Confidence selling across a range of price points and demonstrating item value
- Organizational skills to follow up strategically with customers
- Physical ability to stand and move for long periods and handle merchandise
- Ability to lift items up to 25 pounds occasionally
