Summary
The Designer leads key phases of luxury interior design projects, creating functional and personal spaces for RH clients. This role combines design expertise, technical skills, client relationship building, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Create brand-appropriate presentations, space plans, and comprehensive product selections.
- Lead client consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and installations.
- Qualify and educate potential clients on design services and provide elevated product expertise and service.
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors to source products and materials, and build strong industry relationships.
- Stay current on luxury design trends, industry events, and products.
Requirements
- Education in art, architecture, or interior design, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, space planning and rendering programs, Mac and iOS, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
- Strong communication, organization, collaboration, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a design or architecture firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail is preferred; NCIDQ certification, hand-rendering skills, and interior installation experience are also preferred.
- Ability to travel locally, out of state, or internationally and lift items up to 25 pounds.
