Summary
The Designated Selling Associate Salesperson is a fashion-focused sales professional who builds customer relationships, champions the brand, and drives in-store and digital sales through personalized service, product knowledge, and appointment-based selling. This role requires flexibility to support the department with merchandising, stocking, and customer readiness tasks while collaborating with peers and leadership to improve assortment and meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Cultivate lasting relationships with new and existing customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Provide confident style advice on fit, value, and wardrobe completion
- Conduct and participate in product knowledge meetings and brand trainings
- Support department readiness by stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns, transfers and cleaning
- Drive predictable business through appointment-based selling during events and non-event times
- Provide product feedback to the district manager to influence assortment
- Collaborate with DSAs, stylists and surrounding departments to meet team goals
