- Source and reinterpret exclusive designs to fit the brand's identity.
- Conduct in-depth research across Fabric and Wallcovering categories.
- Build and maintain the design archive.
- Partner with global vendors to execute development ideas.
- Execute colorwork on multicolored patterns for fabric and wallcovering.
- Create design presentations for senior leadership and partners.
- Ensure calendar adherence throughout the development process.
- Attend domestic and international fabric trade shows.
- Oversee wallpaper category production at overseas mills.
- Promote traditional designs and build relationships with artisans.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design/Textile Design or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fabric design, including construction, materials, prints, and sew specs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience creating original artwork through CAD files.
- Strong sense of color and ability to interpret brand identity.
- Knowledge of interiors and apparel trends.
- Experience working with historic textiles and wallcoverings.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
- Part-time telecommuting permitted, with 8-10 days in office per month.
