Designer

As a Designer at Holt Renfrew, you will play a crucial role in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of our retail spaces. This 15-month contract position involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that our store designs align with company strategy and meet all regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with the Manager, Design & Planning to finalize building designs and define renovation scopes.
• Develop and adhere to detailed budgets, implementing value-engineering proposals as needed.
• Support the development of AFE and business cases for projects.
• Design in-house relays and oversee large-scale project designs.
• Work with external vendors and internal teams to manage design projects effectively.
• Maintain compliance with municipal, regional, and provincial building requirements.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration to maximize project success.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies.

• Post-secondary degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related project experience.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage budgets.
• Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
• Affinity for luxury retail and exceptional taste.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Advanced AutoCAD experience and Revit proficiency.
