Summary
Reporting to senior IT leadership, the Director, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure & Operations will lead the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and oversee infrastructure, cloud services, and technology operations. This hands-on leader is responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, scalability, and resilience of technology platforms while driving modernization and transformation initiatives. The role requires strategic oversight of incident response, disaster recovery, third-party security, and technology risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, policies, standards, and governance.
- Lead incident response, cyber recovery, crisis management, and post-incident reviews.
- Provide strategic leadership for security operations, networks, cloud platforms, data centres, servers, and storage.
- Drive infrastructure and cloud transformation, modernization, automation, and operational improvements.
- Identify and manage cybersecurity, infrastructure, AI, data, and third-party technology risks.
- Communicate technology and security risks to senior leadership and the Board.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing technology teams and manage external service providers.
Requirements
- Significant leadership experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, technology operations, or related functions.
- Proven experience developing and executing cybersecurity and technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience leading cybersecurity incident response, crisis management, and disaster recovery programs.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud technologies, large-scale infrastructure transformation, and operational resilience.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, data protection practices, and third-party security management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management with the ability to translate technical risks into business recommendations.
