Job Description

Summary

As the Director of Field Development and Sales Growth, you will lead the hiring, retention, and development of top-tier teams while fostering long-term partnerships to accelerate retail sales. You will oversee a team of Retail Sales Account Executives, focusing on achieving sales and service goals while maintaining brand values and image. Your role includes building strategic plans for key markets and championing a client-centric approach.

Responsibilities
  • Hire, coach, develop, and motivate a team to ensure optimal sales performance.
  • Lead Account Executives to deploy resources and drive profitable growth.
  • Develop selling and management skills of AEs through field store visits.
  • Promote brand values and encourage creativity, innovation, and risk-taking.
  • Develop plans to achieve/exceed regional retail sales goals.
  • Communicate brand-building opportunities and negotiate with retailers.
  • Analyze sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage freelance, T&E, and retail budgets.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of multi-door sales experience in prestige cosmetics or retail.
  • Ability to travel 70% of the time with flexible work hours.
  • Experience managing and driving retail results with department and specialty stores.
  • Proven success in leading a large team and fostering team development.
  • Experience in hiring, training, and developing sales personnel.
  • Strong understanding of beauty and fragrance brands and competitive positioning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to network and establish strong client relationships.
  • Experience in developing innovative in-store events and solutions.
  • Experience using analytical metrics to assess business performance.
