Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers to deliver excellence in developer experience, continuity, security, and observability.
- Collaborate with developers, SRE, and security engineering teams to develop and execute the platform roadmap.
- Drive operational excellence by maturing observability and incident response workflows.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines by automating build, test, and deployment processes.
- Evaluate and improve orchestration infrastructure for continuity and scalability.
- Enable self-service capabilities for developers to reduce friction and improve velocity.
- Ensure security is prioritized in all platform activities.
- Influence enterprise architecture decisions for critical applications and infrastructure.
- Encourage a data-driven culture to enhance performance and scalability.
Requirements- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience leading platform teams in enterprise workload orchestration and security.
- Strong record of recruiting and mentoring high-performing platform teams.
- Experience with distributed computing principles and containerization technologies.
- Experience operating enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Awareness of open telemetry framework for observability.
- Strong execution bias and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders.
