Summary
The Director of Product Management for Inventory will define strategy, vision, and execution for enterprise inventory capabilities to deliver real-time visibility, optimization, and automated decisioning across channels. This role leads multiple product teams and partners with engineering, supply chain, merchandising, finance, and store fulfillment to build scalable solutions that drive sell-through and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term inventory product vision and roadmap aligned with corporate strategy.
- Champion a single source of truth for inventory across vendors, distribution centers, stores, and in-transit nodes.
- Drive adoption of inventory optimization capabilities including predictive analytics and automation.
- Lead multiple product managers and teams to deliver capabilities for visibility, allocation, replenishment, and optimization.
- Translate business needs into product requirements and user stories ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Prioritize roadmap balancing short-term needs with long-term capability development.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science to ensure high-quality delivery and forecasting models.
- Partner with operations, merchandising, and planning to define KPIs and success metrics.
- Build and mentor a high-performing product management organization and drive team engagement.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of combined experience in inventory or supply chain, product, and program management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience owning product roadmaps and end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience making tradeoffs and prioritizing feature delivery against technical constraints.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading and mentoring product and supply chain teams.
- Track record of driving process creation, standardization, and operational improvement.
