Job Description

Summary

As the Director of Regulatory Affairs, you will lead the operational regulatory affairs team for LVMH Beauty brands, focusing on cosmetics and OTC drugs. You will serve as the primary contact for governmental agencies in the USA and Canada, ensuring compliance with new laws and regulations. This role requires a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead a team in a complex regulatory environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the regulatory affairs team in gaining and maintaining market access for cosmetics and OTC drugs in the USA and Canada.
  • Identify and action opportunities to drive business growth through regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor competitive market trends and health authority activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Advocacy team to evaluate regulatory impacts and create proposals.
  • Lead operational questions related to cosmetics and OTC drug regulations.
  • Drive internal processes for product launch preparations, notifications, and registrations.
  • Deliver key projects within timelines and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide leadership and talent development within the team.
  • Communicate operational impacts of regulations to teams.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs.
  • 5 years of people-management experience.
  • Professional background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Legal, or related science.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret regulations and deliver creative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Fluent knowledge of USA and Canada cosmetic and drug regulations.
  • Fluency or working knowledge of French is a plus.
