Director, Strategic Sourcing - Technology

Summary

The Director of Strategic Sourcing - Technology leads a team supporting the Technology organization across software, hardware, telecommunications, and AI infrastructure. This leader builds strategic partnerships, develops sourcing strategies, accelerates deal cycles, and delivers measurable value through supplier management and complex negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing sourcing team.
• Partner proactively with Technology leaders on roadmaps, budgets, and sourcing needs.
• Develop category strategies, manage supplier performance, and identify risks, savings, and innovation opportunities.
• Improve sourcing speed, pipeline visibility, and team processes.
• Lead complex negotiations and manage multiple sourcing strategies and projects.

Requirements

• 12 or more years of global strategic sourcing or procurement experience, ideally supporting a Technology organization.
• 10 or more years of team leadership or people management experience.
• Expertise in market analysis, category strategy, supplier relationships, vendor alliances, cost models, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled sourcing tools, procurement legal requirements, and contracting best practices.
• Strong executive influence, communication, and experience with sourcing tools and business software.
