Job Description

Summary

As the Director of Talent Development, you will be based in our New York City office and play a crucial role in supporting the business evolution by developing a skill-based organization that anticipates future needs and succession planning. You will oversee the execution of all programming and collaborate with HR teams and cross-functional partners to deliver development solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Build corporate professional development strategy to address organizational needs.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to shape the learning strategy for employee professional journeys.
  • Act as a thought-leader and subject matter expert on corporate learning and development.
  • Monitor training impact and ROI, recommending improvements.
  • Design customized team building and leadership development experiences.
  • Facilitate professional development training and lead performance management training.
  • Oversee retail development programming and collaborate with regional VPs and HRBPs.
  • Create program collateral including visuals, activities, and guides.
  • Lead annual appraisal process and co-lead organizational management review.
  • Manage budget, cost, and spend for development programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-9 years of experience in corporate and leadership development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to drive solutions.
  • Strong project management skills.
