Summary
The Director, Visual Merchandising - South leads regional visual merchandising across Florida, Texas, Colorado, and Louisiana, translating global creative vision into elevated in store experiences while partnering with corporate and regional stakeholders to align strategy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the regional visual merchandising team to deliver brand-right executions across boutiques and shop-in-shops
- Serve as liaison between retail operations, corporate visual, and regional leadership to drive seasonal strategy alignment
- Oversee regional travel and resource allocation to optimize costs and schedules
- Ensure consistency and commercial impact across multiple stores adapting global directives locally
- Oversee window installations, in-store displays, and event merchandising for creative excellence
- Partner with corporate VM and global teams to share regional insights and best practices
- Coach and develop team members to uphold brand standards and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross functional partners on product launches campaign activations and priorities
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform regional strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in visual merchandising within luxury retail or fashion
- Proven multi-store management experience across diverse markets
- Demonstrated leadership building and influencing high performing teams
- Strong business acumen with budget management and ROI assessment skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Strong organizational skills balancing creative execution and commercial goals
- Proficiency in PowerPoint Excel technical photography and visual presentation tools
- Flexibility to travel extensively and work non traditional hours
- Authorization to work in the United States
