- Implement tools, systems, and technology to enhance operations.
- Support manufacturing with technical knowledge and training requirements.
- Utilize lean tools to improve manufacturing cycle time and reduce WIP.
- Lead validation of products, equipment, and process changes for operational and quality improvement.
- Standardize processes and materials across manufacturing sites.
- Develop engineering standards for labor and equipment in collaboration with finance and manufacturing.
- Partner with quality to develop quality control plans.
- Ensure quality standards are met and maintained through procedures and methods.
- Manage and develop an engineering team for effective execution of equipment validations and new product introductions.
- Focus on key metrics such as operational yields, WIP, productivity, and equipment downtime.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 10+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- 8+ years in managing an engineering organization.
- Experience in lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills for effective communication across all business levels.
- Project management experience with expertise in managing a full project portfolio.
- Experience with constraint-based (bottleneck) skills.
