Job Description

Summary

The High Jewelry Director will lead the tactical approach in developing the High Jewelry business performance and the development of a community of experts within the market. This individual will manage and monitor the performance of High Jewelry and assist in creating tools to develop a Community of Experts to support high jewelry sales. The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability.

Responsibilities
  • Work with market Client Relations leaders to develop and execute effective outreach for high-net-worth clients.
  • Partner with Regional Client Relations teams to understand local needs and propose methods, tools, and assets to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and Zone High Jewelry teams to meet and exceed client expectations regarding High Jewelry assortment.
  • Initiate the creation of a community of High Jewelry Experts with strong knowledge of stones and jewelry making.
  • Create a training plan with timelines and expectations to ensure experts can act as third-party sales facilitators.
  • Identify internal and external profiles to be part of the expert community.
  • Engage the community with exposure and support for continuous learning and industry insights.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Qualification in gemology (GG level preferred).
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage a budget and support local initiatives.
  • Experience in the luxury watch and jewelry industry.
  • Previous experience in a client relations or client-facing role.
