Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of the Americas logistics strategy in alignment with regional and global logistics strategies.
- Ensure performance to agreed KPIs and implement best practices for managing activities and relationships.
- Provide expertise on trade programs and partner with compliance teams to adapt to regulatory changes.
- Create strategic vision and plans for transportation and trade responsibilities.
- Lead and develop transportation, international trade, and duty optimization teams.
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct performance reviews to improve capabilities and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize data analysis to track KPIs and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement new technologies to enhance business capabilities.
Requirements- Minimum 8 years of management experience in logistics operations with direct report supervision.
- Strong knowledge of US domestic transportation, import/export activities, and Foreign Trade Zones.
- Proficiency in duty drawback and optimization strategies, and US trade programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships across the organization.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
