Distribution Center Associate

Summary

Responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product in a distribution center while maintaining safety, security and productivity standards. Performs staging and loading of outbound trailers and ensures proper stacking and handling to prevent damage.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and complete receipts by purchase order
• Stage and load outbound trailers following shipping best practices
• Ensure accuracy and proper orientation of loads to prevent product damage
• Stack items safely to facilitate unloading and storage
• Store, putaway, pick and ship product accurately
• Meet individual team and departmental productivity goals
• Maintain a clean and debris free warehouse environment
• Conduct operations in compliance with federal state and local safety laws

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution experience
• Basic mathematics and reading skills
• Understanding of inventory flow
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to stand twist stoop kneel squat bend and climb for prolonged periods
