Distribution Center Associate

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product to meet safety, security, and productivity standards. This role supports staging and loading of outbound trailers, proper stacking and load accuracy, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment. Associates work to meet individual, team, and departmental performance goals while complying with applicable laws and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets to floor aligned by vendor to ensure accurate receipt by purchase order
• Stage and load outbound trailers following shipping best practices
• Ensure accuracy of loads and proper stacking to prevent damage
• Perform put-away, picking, and shipping tasks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Meet individual, team, and departmental productivity and performance goals
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution experience
• Basic mathematics and reading skills
• Strong understanding of inventory flow, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
