Distribution Center Lead

Summary

Lead and develop a high-energy distribution center team to deliver quality and ensure inventory integrity. Assist in directing warehouse operations, coaching associates to meet productivity and safety standards, and support departmental planning alongside operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop distribution center team on product handling and organizational standards
• Coach associates to achieve productivity standards and policy adherence
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and promote a safe work environment
• Conduct operations in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Assist leadership in planning work schedules across departments
• Partner with the Operations Director to establish department and individual goals
• Assume responsibility for achieving departmental goals on a daily basis

Requirements

• Strong understanding of inventory flow
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to motivate and influence others
• Strong systems knowledge and commitment to quality with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
