Distribution Supervisor Sortation

As a Distribution Supervisor Sortation at our McDonough facility, you will oversee the direct supervision and coordination of distribution, quality assurance, and inventory. You will lead a team of distribution associates to meet and exceed the Distribution Center's KPI goals and objectives, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Prioritize daily workflow to meet and exceed customer commitments.
• Coach, train, and lead a team of 25-30 distribution associates to achieve productivity and service goals.
• Supervise physical facilities, human resources, equipment, and products profitably.
• Administer and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and employment laws.
• Establish procedures for verification of distribution services to meet customer requirements.
• Plan short-term labor needs based on forecasts and management input.
• Ensure consistent daily/weekly expense control.
• Develop effective planning and project management for process improvements.
• Participate in process audits to identify and correct process deviations.
• Monitor controls to meet service levels and operational performance goals.
• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a related field.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse and distribution environments.
• Knowledge/experience with WMS, SAP, and familiarity with PC and MS Office.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
