Job Description

Summary

As a District Director at Kering Eyewear, you will play a key leadership role within the Sales team, responsible for leading and coaching brand ambassadors to deliver exceptional results and customer service. You will define and execute strategic action plans to control KPIs and sales activities, identify key talent, and maintain a strong market presence with a passion for networking and brands.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and coach brand ambassadors to achieve their highest potential through training and goal planning.
  • Drive and maximize sales performance to meet sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity.
  • Support sales brand ambassador teams in implementing company strategies.
  • Conduct regular store visits and co-travel with sales brand ambassadors.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships and conduct client visits.
  • Enhance sales company processes and liaise with involved departments.
  • Develop business plans for top customers based on structured targets and investment needs.
  • Monitor KPIs regarding productivity, sales, and customer service to identify opportunities and create strategic action plans.
  • Track sales and status reports by brand ambassador and execute recovery plans.
  • Analyze sales/business trends and develop strategic action plans with the team.
  • Evaluate distribution and identify elevation opportunities.
  • Provide bottom-up forecasting and implement strategies for gap closure.
  • Promote brand awareness and capture competitive market share.
  • Drive and deliver on local, regional, and national selling events.
  • Demonstrate effective managerial competencies and enforce teamwork.
  • Monitor sales brand ambassador teams and provide feedback on performance.
  • Partner with Regional VP and HR on employee relations and performance reviews.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team and build a talent pipeline.
  • Ensure a consistent onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Collaborate with the training department on new product and service trainings.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in sales management, with experience in a district role.
  • Experience within healthcare/eyecare industries, outdoor brands, fashion, luxury, cosmetics, or consumer goods environments.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of growing sales and building distribution among retailers.
  • Ability to build and nurture strong customer relationships.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams such as HR, Store Operations, and Marketing.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strategic focus and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent project management skills and organizational abilities.
  • Experience managing business-to-business relationships.
  • Availability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Based in the San Francisco Metro area.
