Summary
The Divisional Vice President, Total Rewards, HR Operations and Systems will lead design and implementation of total rewards strategy and oversee HR operations including payroll and HRIS to align programs with business objectives and drive operational excellence. This role partners with senior leaders, vendors, and boards to translate analytics into strategic recommendations and lead a high performing team. The position requires on-site presence at least three days per week at the 60 Bloor Street location.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive total rewards strategy covering compensation, benefits, recognition, and performance management
- Lead cross-functional reward initiatives using analytics and insights to inform decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leaders and board members
- Oversee HR operations including HRIS management, payroll, compliance, and employee relations
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline HR service delivery
- Establish metrics, reporting systems and dashboards to measure program effectiveness
- Manage risk related to total rewards programs and HR operations
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership and business partners to align HR strategies
- Lead, mentor and develop the total rewards and HR operations teams
Requirements
- 10 years minimum experience in total rewards and HR operations at the enterprise level
- Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to lead and develop teams
- Deep subject matter expertise in total rewards and market benchmarking
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and visualization to drive strategy
- Excellent business acumen, judgment and ability to handle confidential information
- Proven ability to lead change and influence stakeholders including executive and board audiences
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
