Job Description

Summary

The E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist will oversee and manage the online catalog and website experience, optimizing the conversion and customer journey, and ensuring smooth day-to-day management of Diesel's website. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker with hands-on expertise in e-commerce and analytics to optimize the customer journey through merchandising and user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Daily management of on-site activities, focusing on catalog management, PLP creation, site merchandising, filters, navigation menu, internal search, and editorial page updates.
  • Ensure alignment of on-site activities with brand objectives and the global editorial calendar, optimizing collections and product categories.
  • Conduct daily site audits to uncover areas for enhancement, optimization, and A/B Testing opportunities.
  • Ensure execution of promotional strategy through proper set-up, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with marketing, CRM, IT, and UX/UI teams to implement merchandising tools and support on-site testing activities.
  • Curate site merchandising activities, considering product delivery, seasonal trends, collections performances, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor product pages to ensure all descriptive information and assets are pristine.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with broader company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, traffic, and site key performance indicators.
  • Utilize key metrics to communicate category and product performance and identify trends.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in an eCommerce Marketing and/or Site Merchandising role.
  • Proficient knowledge of SFCC Commerce Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, Adobe Analytics tool, and Algolia is a plus.
  • Understanding of website platform technologies and main e-commerce tools.
  • Knowledge of online business development tactics, e-commerce trends, and competitive landscape for the US market.
  • Extreme attention-to-detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong reasoning skills and an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Proven ability to interact and collaborate across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
