Summary
The Ecommerce Director will own North America ecommerce strategy, sales, P&L, and partnership management to drive revenue across owned channels including website email and organic social. This role leads site UX performance merchandising product launches and day-to-day online operations while partnering with marketing product planning and engineering to optimize conversion and lifetime value.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute ecommerce strategy to increase profitability and revenue growth.
- Set KPI benchmarks and drive year over year growth plans.
- Ensure best-in-class digital experience for all ecommerce touchpoints.
- Build and lead a high performing ecommerce and digital marketing team and manage agency relationships.
- Manage trading calendar including promotions merchandising and site refreshes.
- Collaborate with planning merchandising finance and marketing to meet financial objectives.
- Own owned channels performance and alignment of calendars audiences creative and post-click journeys.
- Develop lifecycle retention programs including email SMS and loyalty segmentation and testing.
- Oversee ecommerce operations site performance QA releases and scalability.
Requirements
- 15+ years of related ecommerce and marketing experience.
- BS BA required MBA preferred.
- Proven success in Direct to Consumer ecommerce with significant year over year growth.
- Strong B2C online marketing campaign development customer acquisition and retention experience.
- Advanced customer analytics and ability to translate brand vision to the online channel.
- Experience with strategy planning budget and P&L management merchandising and vendor management.
- Proven leadership experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience with Shopify and managing digital sales in the luxury retail market.
