Job Description

Summary

The Ecommerce Manager owns the strategic direction and hands-on execution of the brand27s .com experience, driving site merchandising, user experience, conversion, and reporting. This role partners with marketing, retention, planning, design, and development partners to execute product launches, content updates, and optimization efforts, including a Shopify redesign. The position is based in the New York headquarters and requires on-site presence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute site merchandising strategy to improve conversion, reduce bounce rate, and increase sell-through.
  • Merchandise the site in coordination with marketing, performance, and retention activities.
  • Use data and analytics to identify growth opportunities across collections, taxonomy, UX, and critical path; develop and run A/B tests.
  • Partner with development agency to implement UX/UI roadmap and improve site performance, SEO, and mobile experience.
  • Own product launch execution and site content updates: product uploads, QA, briefs, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on site metrics and sell-through, offering insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage the ecommerce campaign calendar and support promotional and semi-annual sale events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor27s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, preferably with D2C retail or fashion accessories.
  • Proficiency with Shopify (Shopify Plus a plus) and product catalog management.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, website analytics tools, A/B testing, and SEO best practices.
  • Knowledge of website optimization for speed, UX, and mobile performance and UX/UI best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate sales data into insights and recommendations.
  • Experience coordinating with front- and back-end development partners and cross-functional teams.
