Edging And Mounting Technician

As an Edging and Mounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of eyewear products. You will be responsible for cutting lenses and mounting them in frames, restoring damaged frames, and performing final inspections to meet quality standards.

• Cut lenses and mount them in frames.
• Restore damaged and deformed frames and adapt lens edging to these frames.
• Evaluate the best bevel position according to lens powers and curvatures.
• Perform final inspections of orders in compliance with quality standards.
• Point and check lenses.
• Perform special trimming for small frames.
• Calibrate machines and ensure versatility in all positions.
• Replace other team members during vacations.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Optician's diploma is an asset.
• 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of lens types, bevel types, and frames.
• Precision and accuracy in performing manual tasks.
• Strong sense of observation.
